Identification of nodes and elements
Q: How can I select/know the nodes or elements in the boundary or pflex model?
A: You will be able to identify the node or element numbers from the model within the Xpost viewer. Toggle the relevant groups, and selcet Verify - Element Numbers or Verify - Node Numbers
von Mises stresses
Q: Can I obtain von Mises stress as a result type?
A: No. You must store the stress compoonent results separately and combine them. Note that if you execute Lifetime you will obtain stress results to the *.lof file.
Stress range between two time steps, maximum stress
Q: Can I obtain the stress ranges between two time steps, or identify the node with maximum stress in a time period?
A: You must store stress results at the relevant time steps and calculate the range based on that. In Xpost, you can identify the the max/min stress at the current step.
